First official update of the J2 blog! For the web nerds out there I'm about halfway through the process of changing the site layout from tables to flexbox for my own sanity :) Also We've made a guestbook! If you're here checking out the page pls say hi! I plan to better integrate it into the site but I'm lazy atm so it's just an external link for now!

I received a postcard today from local legends Entrez Vous for their new EP 'Tell Her A Joke'! And the physical item in my hands produced the intended effect - I was compelled to listen to the record!

'(Crying In The) Sportsbook' has already been a favorite of mine when I've caught them live in the last year or so, but my favorite part of the EP's 11 minute runtime is the back half of the psychedelic fourth track 'Her Favorite Horse'. Kelly's reverb-drenched vocals and acoustic strums fall away into a droning ambience that reminds me of Animal Collective's 'Turn Into Something' or the trance-like guitar work of Carl Erdmann.

So thank you to Clark, Kelly, and the rest of the Entrez Vous-niverse for the card and their wonderful tunes!






After roughly 8 years of existence, 3 albums, and 50+ live shows since 2023 we finally feel inclined to make and maintain a band website.

We're gonna use this site as a blog style page with fun updates on shows / our music + music that we're enjoying / and general goings-on in the Jupiter 2-niverse!
